Enabling Cookies
On Your Computer
Wide Bay Australia uses cookies for various purposes. These include security features of our 'smartlink' Internet Banking service. A "cookie" is a small text file placed on your computer by a webpage server which may later be retrieved by webpage servers. Browsers allow you to be notified when you receive a cookie and to elect to either accept it or not.

To enable cookies on your browser please follow the instructions below:
Enable cookies on Internet Explorer version 6.0, 7.0 and 8.0
- Select Tools from the menu bar, then select Internet Options.
- Click on the Privacy tab.
- Click on the Advanced button.
- Check the Override automatic cookie handling option.
- Click on OK.
Enable cookies on Firefox
- Select Tools from the menu bar, then select Options.
- Click on the Privacy icon.
- Click on the Cookies tab.
- Check the option Allow sites to set Cookies. Note that you can use the Exceptions option to specify Individual sites that you will allow to use cookies, or those that you want to block.
- Click on OK.
Enable cookies on Safari
- On the Safari menu, select Preferences.
- Click the Security tab
- Under "Accept Cookies" check "Only for sites you navigate to..."
- Click Close.
